Lewis Steakhouse: Reviews & Ratings
We had our first date here so it was only natural that we had our first anniversary here as well. We have always loved this place but they really made our night special. Extra thanks to Richard our 10/10 server. The host who made us a handmade anniversary card was so accommodating. Highly recommend Lewis!
Lewis Steakhouse may sit quietly in Chasewood Plaza, looking modest from the outside, but step through the door and the scene changes entirely. Do not judge this book by its cover. Inside, it leans into the timeless language of a great American steakhouse. Think warm lighting, rich woods, and that low hum of contented conversation that tells you the kitchen is doing something right. It is classic in all the best ways, without a single gimmick in sight. Service follows suit. The staff are friendly, helpful, and impressively informative, striking that sweet spot between polished and personable. Special credit to our server, Rich, who treated the evening like a celebration and made sure every question had an answer and every recommendation had a reason. One of the loveliest touches was the tableside presentation of steak and dessert options before we ordered. There is something both charming and reassuring about seeing exactly what is headed for your plate before you commit. Start with the bone marrow. It is an absolute must, gloriously rich and deeply flavorful, the kind of dish that silences a table for a moment while everyone nods appreciatively. You may want to plan on two servings, not because you are greedy but because you will be once you taste it. For the main event, the porterhouse for two arrived cooked to perfection and sliced for display right on the plate. I love when a kitchen does this. You instantly see that perfect cook temperature, and the first slice needs no guesswork, only a fork. The bar is not merely an accessory here. The Green Goddess cocktail is bright and herbaceous, a clever counterpoint to all that steakhouse decadence, while the smoked old fashioned arrives with drama and delivers with depth. Finish with the classic cheesecake, a textbook example of why certain desserts never go out of style. It is creamy, clean, and exactly what you want at the end of a steak dinner. Everything about this meal was spot on. From the old school ambiance to the attentive service to the confident cooking, Lewis Steakhouse in Jupiter, Florida delivers the full experience. I would recommend it to anyone and fully intend to return for many more meals. And one more nod to Rich, who made the evening feel special in all the right ways.
I had the Delmonico steak cooked medium rare, while my boyfriend and his son enjoyed their strip steaks medium. The steaks were cooked perfectly to our liking—my Delmonico was wet-aged and absolutely delicious! We paired our meals with sautéed garlic spinach and fries, both excellent sides. The dessert sampler looked tempting and had great reviews, but we were too full to try it this time. Our server, Tony, was wonderful—pleasant, attentive, and made the experience even better. Our meals came out promptly and everything exceeded expectations. Highly recommend this spot in Jupiter, West Palm Beach, for anyone who loves a great steak!
We had an exceptional dining experience at Lewis Steakhouse, made even better by our server, Carlos. From the moment we sat down, he greeted us with a warm smile and guided us through the menu with impressive knowledge and genuine enthusiasm. His detailed explanations of the food and drink options helped us make great choices, and his attentiveness throughout the meal ensured we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Carlos’s kind and thoughtful service truly elevated our experience. The steaks at Lewis Steakhouse were absolutely phenomenal, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Paired with expertly crafted cocktails, every aspect of the meal was outstanding. Thanks to Carlos’s top-notch service, we felt like valued guests the entire time. We’ll definitely be returning to this gem of a restaurant and looking forward to another memorable experience with such a fantastic server. Highly recommend!
This is our 3rd time dining at Lewis Steakhouse. We celebrated my husband’s birthday there the 1st time we went and they welcomed us with a hand written birthday card and a huge discount on our bill. We enjoyed their Happy Hour menu on our 2nd time which was incredible. And last night, we celebrated our anniversary there. They decorated the table and gave us another hand written card! The food is spectacular! Their steaks are probably the best I’ve ever had and I have been to many high end steak restaurants in different parts of the world including South America and Europe. The service is immaculate. The atmosphere is nostalgic…brings you back to what a traditional classic old world style steak restaurant vibes. I give this restaurant a definite 10/10 without hesitation. We actually brought my New Yorker in laws to dine with us and they were highly impressed! That is huge
Lewis Steakhouse had been recommended to me several times as a “must-try” if I ever got the chance — last night, I finally did. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, everything was absolutely top-notch. Our server, Carlos, set the tone immediately — attentive, personable, and professional. He has a gift for creating that rare feeling of, “I’m here to make your evening great and relaxing.” It’s a level of service you don’t often see anymore. The restaurant itself captures that classic steakhouse feel — dark, moody, and elegant, with an atmosphere that nods to the old-school steakhouses of the past. The cuts are presented tableside, which is a thoughtful touch you just don’t see very often anymore. And unlike so many places today that seem eager to turn tables, Lewis moves at a deliberate, relaxing pace that invites you to settle in and enjoy the evening. I ordered a smoked Old Fashioned, which was spectacular, followed by the bone-in ribeye, cooked medium-rare with a perfect char. It arrived pre-cut and presented beautifully on a wooden board. The Brussels sprouts were another standout — tender, flavorful, and covered in a smoky cheese sauce with crisp chunks of bacon. It’s not a cheap meal, but it’s worth every dollar. The true mark of a great restaurant is when you know it’s expensive — but you never once feel like you overpaid. Lewis Steakhouse achieves that effortlessly. If you can afford it, go and enjoy. If you can’t, save up and make it a special night with someone important. Lewis Steakhouse isn’t just dinner — it’s an experience worth having.
Our Birthday Celebration was golden at Lewis Steakhouse. It is a true Steakhouse, so be ready to have your taste buds satisfied beyond words. Our party ordered the Tomahawk, Porterhouse, and Delmonico steaks with Fries, Truffle Mac and Cheese, Asparagus, and a Lobster Tail followed by dessert. Our server, Carlos, was charismatic and informative. He educated us on the cuts and history of each steak. He did not just ask how we would like our steaks prepared, he asked how much char we wanted and each steak came out exactly as requested. The sides were also amazing. The presentation of the Porterhouse, Tomahawk, and desserts was remarkable. Only lower than highest grade review, would be for the Delmonico being served solely on the plate with no garnishing. I would have presented it with some greens, even though it is of lower price. Never underestimate the Delmonico. It is tender and is packed with flavor. The ambience paired equally well. Plenty of space on the table, the decor was clean and inviting, the lighting was perfect for the venue. Highly suggest you go experience Lewis Steakhouse. Ask for Carlos!
We had an incredible dinner at Lewis Steakhouse to celebrate our engagement. The evening felt special from the moment we walked in and were greeted and congratulated by the hostess, to the beautiful rose and petals decorating the table and beyond thoughtful note left for us. The service was top notch and the food beyond delicious. My fiancé and I are not drinkers and were pleasantly surprised by the recently added mocktail list. All in all a wonderful meal to celebrate a wonderful new chapter in our lives.
